Michelle Hanlon - Executive Director
Michelle is co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of For All Moonkind. She leads all legal efforts, with particular emphasis on space law. Michelle is also Co-Director of the Center for Air and Space Law and an instructor of aviation and space law at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Michelle received her B.A. in Political Science from Yale College and her J.D. magna cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. She earned her LLM in Air and Space Law from McGill University where the focus of her research was commercial space and the intersection of commerce and public law.
Prior to focusing on space law, Michelle was engaged in a private business law practice. Her legal career commenced with the restructuring of sovereign debt for a number of South and Latin American countries and evolved into the negotiation and implementation of cross-border technology mergers and acquisitions. Her subsequent solo practice advised entrepreneurs across four continents on all aspects of bringing their innovative ideas to market: from basic corporate formation to financings and buyouts.
Michelle is also a founding partner of ABH Aerospace, LLC a consulting firm which provides advice and counsel in respect of all aspects of air, space and cyber law. She is on the Advisory Board of several start-ups involved in commercial space activities including orbital debris removal, remote sensing and the support of lunar resource extraction. Michelle is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Space Law and the Journal of Drone Law and Policy.
Tim Hanlon - Director of Communications
Tim Hanlon is co-founder and Chief of Communications at For All Moonkind. He leads all education and awareness campaigns. Tim has coordinated marketing, communications and public relations efforts at some of the world’s leading on and offline companies including Priceline, the Schwan Food Company, Merrill Lynch, Unilever and Procter & Gamble. Mr. Hanlon also managed press relations for General Colin Powell (ret.) and America’s Promise, a campaign to improve the lives of America’s at-risk children. He also worked as President and CEO of the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis where he managed a $38 million Capital Campaign.
In 1991, Tim served in the Bush Administration as Director of Marketing at the Points of Light Foundation. Tim started his marketing career at Nike where he also competed for the company at the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic Trials.
He holds a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. He is a member of the St. John’s Hall of Fame and a two-time NCAA All American in Track and Field.
Allison Lewis - Chief of Staff
Allison Lewis is the Program Manager of the Center for Air and Space Law, a Managing Editor of the Journal of Space Law, and on the Board of For All Moonkind. She has a Master’s Degree in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Master’s Degree in Communications from Boston University, and is currently working toward a Graduate Certificate in Air and Space Law at the University of Mississippi School of Law. She is also the Cubmaster of Pack 4 in Oxford, MS, and continually shares her love of the Moon and space with her group of scouts, who she views as future space lawyers.
Bailey Cunningham - Strategic Director
Bailey Cunningham serves as the Director of Operations for For All Moonkind. In addition, Bailey is an adjunct faculty member at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she teaches Space Law and Policy.
Bailey received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida, with minors in Astronomy and Intelligence Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, and her Master of Laws in Air and Space Law from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
